The cold weather has finally settled into the Hudson Valley region and many of us are prepared. However, there are a number of those who do not have the proper gear for the colder weather, and this includes young children. It breaks our hearts to see there are children in our local community who will be suffering from the cold, so our Community Services Committee is holding a local coat drive to collect coat and jacket donations for the Hudson Valley Region.

The Ulster County Board of REALTORS® Community Services Committee is asking the local community to donate any new boys and girls coats and jackets they may have. They are requesting children’s jackets and coat sizes 6X-18 to be donated at the Ulster County Board of REALTORS® office at 74 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401 until December 31, 2022.

If you are unable to go shopping for a new coat during this holiday rush season, the Ulster County Board of REALTORS® Community Services Committee will also be accepting financial donations for them to purchase coats and jackets. If you would rather contribute a financial donation, please send them to Ulster County Board of REALTORS® at 74 Broadway, Kingston, NY 12401, and please address with “Winter Coat Drive” in the memo line.

All coats and jackets will be collected and sent to the local schools to be distributed to children who are in need.

No child should be left to suffer from the cold. Please help us keep our local children warm and safe by donating today!

Thank you,

Ulster County Board of REALTORS® Community Services Committee
