This past Wednesday, July 13, 2022, the Ulster County Board of REALTORS® held the “Lunch is Knowledge” at the Fireside Lounge at Diamond Mills in Saugerties. The event focused on providing important information regarding commercial real estate.
Our members were treated to a plethora of the basics of commercial real estate from the various definitions of important commercial real estate terms such as Gross Lease and Class A real estate to the major differences between being a realtor for a residential client versus being a realtor for a commercial client.
Our REALTORS® received great knowledge in learning that unlike in residential real estate where you have the buyers and the sellers, commercial real estate will have a number of decisions makers involved in the process. This can make finding the “right” property for clients difficult.
The Ulster County Board of REALTORS® focuses on providing our members with education, tips, and training in a variety of real estate topics. Members have access to resources, such as this recent event, so they have the proper tools to better serve their clients and help them find their dream home or business location.
The Ulster County Board of REALTORS® would like to thank John DiIanni, who did an amazing job presenting for the event. The UCBR would also like to thank Ulster Savings Bank for sponsoring this event and helping to make it all possible.
