On March 25th, the team at UCBR got together on a Zoom call to congratulate our own on their accomplishments and to discuss company-wide updates and developments. We had the pleasure of the following speakers from our own team at UCBR, as well as from one of our sponsors:

Our meeting hosted two speakers, Tim Weidemann and David Legaz.

 

Tim Weidemann, Director of Economic Development Office of the UC Executive, gave an extensive overview of where the county is going. He focused on sharing insight on some of the more recent changes, and highlighted how the latest real estate craze has impacted the local areas. Tim also spoke on the county economic development plan for Ulster County.

 

David Legaz, 2021 NYSAR President, spoke on important federal, state, and local changes and updates. He introduced a “Safe Selling Kit”, a kit provided to agents that contains items like face masks, sanitizer, gloves, and more. Fair Housing was another topic discussed at length, with resources provided for additional training and education.
